Driver's outside mirror is wavy and distorted. Makes you somewhat dizzy to look at it. Replaced twice by dealer with exact same results. Dealer finally told me that all 4runner mirrors were coming that way. When asked the solution, he actually told me "don't look at it". I told him i considered it a safety hazard. *ak

Original driver's door rear view mirror was bad, image was distorted, eyes couldn't focus. The dealer has replaced the mirror and/or entire assembly 3 times, still not fixed. I'm working on getting it replaced again....

Driver's side rear view mirror glass is warped. All other vehicles on lot had same problem. Bbs feedback indicates other owners are experiencing same problem. Toyota should be forced to order a recall. People who have asked and got replacement mirrors/glass have found same problem (warpage) exists on replacement mirrors. Shortly after i purchased my new vehicle, i noticed the driver's side rear-view mirror was warped. I went to a local dealer and it was replaced as a warranty item, but the replacement was worse than the original. A new mirror was ordered, and it was warped just as badly as the one that was installed (the third was never installed).
